Even parents don't do this well .. but when memories of their total failure to protect them from abusive (mental, sexual, emotional, spiritual, physical) people happen .. those words come out .. how could a parent do that?
In a would where abortion is legal, empires can drone strike wedding parties, and all kinds of evil seems to win .. it is a broken world. However, the 1st century Christians we're great at empathy. Having no answers and no means to fix it .. they were just there for them.
Just random thoughts on a beautiful Saturday spring day ..
